Dr. Pat has over 20 years of experience in dentistry and has significant training in performing both surgical and nonsurgical procedures. His services include composite fillings, porcelain veneers, restoration of dental implants, simple tooth extraction and more. Many men and women visit Dr. Pat to undergo treatment for cavities, chipped teeth, gingivitis, tooth decay, tooth loss, and severe toothaches. Dr. Pat also works diligently to take the fear and anxiety out of dentistry for patients who visit his office, which is why he also offers sedation dentistry to safely perform advanced dental treatments with minimal pain for his patients.
Dr. Pat received his undergraduate degree in business administration at Southern Methodist University in Dallas, TX. From there, he returned to California to study Organic Chemistry and Physics at Long Beach City College. After he concluded his studies at LBCC, Dr. Pat went onto attend Herman Ostrow School of Dentistry of USC where he received his doctorate in dental surgery. In addition to his DDS degree, he served and completed a fellowship at the Midwest Implant Institute. Later, he also acquired certification in conscious sedation dentistry and dental implants.
Dr. Pat is professional member of the Harbor Dental Society, the California Dental Association, the American Dental Association, and Doctors for Oral Conscious Sedation. These dental societies are dedicated to not only enhancing the lives of its members, but also the lives and oral health care of patients across the country.
Although Dr. Pat had a great passion for dentistry at an early age and thoroughly enjoys helping others achieve oral health, his primary love is his family. Anytime he is out of the office, he is spending quality time with his wife, Amber, and their kids — Luke, Madi, and Chase. His favorite pastimes include playing soccer and tennis, telling dad jokes, watching all the sports channels, USC football, poker, reading, eating, being a dentist, and working with his family.
I've been coming to Emigh Dental Care for a few years now and staff is always friendly, polite, and professional. Every visit is thorough and informative. Bailey is my hygienist and she's great!

The staff and doctors at Emigh Dental Care are so profession, personable, and kind. I was fortunate enough to have a dentist that I loved growing up but I had very low expectations of ever finding another office where I felt as comfortable and confident in the care as I do with Emigh. So grateful to have found them!**Following up in 2026** I recently revisited Emigh Dental Care after having tried other offices due to a change in my insurance. They still offer the best experience I have yet to find in the greater Long Beach area and beyond. If your insurance is accepted here (or even if not), take advantage of it!! 🫶🏼
Dr. Pat is the best! He is so personable and makes sure that his patient's dental health is his top priority. And I absolutely love my Dental Hygienist, Jenny! She makes every visit so pleasant and has me looking forward to the next time I'm scheduled to get my teeth cleaned.The office staff are also easy to deal with and they always bill my insurance appropriately.
