About Emergency Dental Care
Our family-owned Long Beach dental practice understands that emergencies can arise at any time, which is why we work earnestly to provide same-day emergency care to our patients. Dental issues such as a severe toothache, fractured, or lost tooth typically need immediate care and relief. If patients are in need of immediate dental care, they can call our office as soon as possible. Patients should be sure to communicate that they are in need of same-day emergency care, and we will do our best to get them in at the first available time. To assist the discomfort in the mean time, our office can provide short-term relief tips that may help. Please note that if patients have chipped a tooth that they should save all pieces if possible.

What to Expect
If patients are calling for emergency care during normal office hours, our practice will be sure to do our best in getting them in as soon as possible. However, for after-hour emergency dental care, patients should seek immediate care at the nearest ER. We recommend that patients still call our office to leave a detailed message about their emergency. Once our practice opens the next morning, our staff will contact our dentists to inform them of the issue to get the patient in for an early exam. Our dentists will then be able to examine the condition and prepare for emergency treatment if it's still necessary.
Treatment Aftercare
Usually after an emergency appointment, a follow-up exam will be set up to check on the condition. During this time, our dentists will be able to determine if additional work is required. Our top-priority is to ensure that patients receive the best treatment and care possible that will bring immediate and safe results. Our dentists will also provide important aftercare instructions that will assist in optimal healing and will help to better improve their discomfort.
