"I had such a fantastic experience at Emigh Dental, and I’m genuinely so happy I found this office.I originally called because I had a chipped tooth, and even as a new patient they were able to squeeze me in the following week and set me up with a full new-patient exam. The first person I spoke with, Stephanie at the front desk, was incredibly welcoming and helpful. She walked me through my insurance and what would be covered, which immediately put me at ease.At that first visit, Dr. Todd was able to fix my chipped tooth, and he was fantastic. I was worried I might need a crown, but he took the time to explain that they could simply drill it down and restore it, saving me from needing a crown for now. I really appreciated his honesty and conservative approach, it never felt like he was pushing unnecessary work.The hygienist who cleaned my teeth was AMAZING. She was incredibly thorough and took the time to explain what she was measuring, what gum pocket depths mean, and how everything related to my overall dental health. She was completely non-judgmental, which I truly appreciated since it had been over a year since my last cleaning.Cassie took all of my X-rays and was super sweet, making the whole process comfortable and easy. They also did a free oral cancer screening, which I’ve never had done before and thought was such a thoughtful extra level of care.I later came back for three fillings, and Dr. Wong and Cassie took amazing care of me. They were thorough, efficient, and had such a gentle touch. I really appreciated that they didn’t let me see the needle while numbing me, and they explained the process clearly without over-explaining or overwhelming me.On top of all that, I loved the comfort details: great music, a neck pillow, and being asked what I wanted to watch on TV while they worked on my teeth. Those little touches made a huge difference.Overall, this office made going to the dentist feel comfortable, respectful, and honestly pleasant. My kids and I have all seen Dr. Wong, Dr. Pat, and Dr. Todd and they are all excellent. I never feel pressured and they explain everything clearly. The hygienists and office staff are also consistently kind and I have never had anything but positive experiences with this practice. Just yesterday we were managing changing insurance and I told my husband that I didn’t care about keeping any of our doctors but keeping Emigh dental was my top priority- later that night I had a dental emergency, called Dr. Pat and heard back from him right away. "I was looking for a new dentist, and a friend recommend Dr. Wong at Emigh Dental Care. Hands down one of the best dental experiences I’ve had. Everyone was attentive and kind. Dr. Wong was even more kind and made my dental exam so comfortable. They were able to fit an Invisalign consultation, X-rays, dental exam, and cleaning in one visit! The dental hygienist, Manny, was thorough and even showed me (with a mirror and great explanation) some problem gum areas I needed to pay attention to. If future visits are as great as this first one, I am look forward to the next one!"
"Finding a new dentist can be a challenge, especially after moving to a new area or when your previous dentist sells their practice. Fortunately, Emigh Dental Care has made that process easy for me. With three outstanding dentists, supported by a great office staff, dental assistants, and hygienists, I’ve received the highest level of care here and couldn’t be more grateful. Although Emigh Dental Care is out-of-network for my Delta Dental PPO, which means I pay upfront and get reimbursed later, the care my family and I have received is well worth the additional cost. This is hands down the best dental practice we’ve ever been to. Dr. Todd Emigh Dr. Todd was the first dentist I saw, and I now consider him my primary dentist. He’s fantastic—friendly, easy to talk to, and great at explaining things in a way that puts you at ease. He is also highly skilled at diagnosing and treating both simple and complex dental issues. On multiple occasions, CSULB students interested in dentistry have--with my permission--observed my appointments, and I’ve seen firsthand how Dr. Todd is a natural teacher. Before and after the appointments, he took time to answer the students' questions and explain the procedures, which was impressive to watch. Dr. Pat Emigh Earlier this year, I met with Dr. Pat for a tooth that was causing pain and gum inflammation. While his personality is more direct and to the point compared to his brother Todd, he’s equally skilled and precise in his care. He recommended I see a root canal specialist, and I initially chose a different one. After a less-than-ideal experience with the specialist I selected, I returned to the one Dr. Pat had recommended, and the consultation and procedure went perfectly, just as he had predicted. Dr. Wong Dr. Wong has been equally wonderful. I saw her for follow-up care related to the root canal recommended by Dr. Pat. She is friendly, thorough, and very detailed in her work. Like Dr. Todd and Dr. Pat, she is highly skilled and made me feel comfortable throughout the process. Although I’ve made a strong connection with Dr. Todd and prefer to see him regularly, I’m confident that all three dentists—Dr. Pat and Dr. Wong included—provide exceptional care. If Dr. Todd isn’t available, I would have no hesitation in seeing either of them again. Dental Hygienist – Katrina I also have to give a special shout-out to Katrina, the fantastic dental hygienist I see for my regular 6-month cleanings. She’s thorough yet gentle, making the cleaning process smooth and comfortable. Plus, Katrina’s friendly personality and knack for sharing funny and interesting stories always make the time fly by. Thanks to her, my cleanings are not just painless, but actually enjoyable. The office itself is modern, clean, and equipped with the latest technology. It’s clear that they prioritize staying up-to-date with the newest procedures, techniques, and tools in the field of dentistry. While it can be more costly for us to receive care at an out-of-network provider, the quality of service and care we’ve experienced at Emigh Dental Care has been worth every penny. There’s a saying that "you get what you pay for," but in this case, I believe we’re getting even more."

"My filling and teeth cleaning went perfect. Dr. Wong and Andrea both did an excellent job. The only bummer is they no longer accept Delta Dental for payment so you have to pay upfront for the dental work. The good part is they will bill Delta for you, but you need to wait to receive what Delta pays. Note, Delta will pay something, but not the whole bill. I will gladly pay for what they do not cover because Dr. Emigh's office is an exceptionally good office and I get great care there."
