"I had such a fantastic experience at Emigh Dental, and I’m genuinely so happy I found this office.I originally called because I had a chipped tooth, and even as a new patient they were able to squeeze me in the following week and set me up with a full new-patient exam. The first person I spoke with, Stephanie at the front desk, was incredibly welcoming and helpful. She walked me through my insurance and what would be covered, which immediately put me at ease.At that first visit, Dr. Todd was able to fix my chipped tooth, and he was fantastic. I was worried I might need a crown, but he took the time to explain that they could simply drill it down and restore it, saving me from needing a crown for now. I really appreciated his honesty and conservative approach, it never felt like he was pushing unnecessary work.The hygienist who cleaned my teeth was AMAZING. She was incredibly thorough and took the time to explain what she was measuring, what gum pocket depths mean, and how everything related to my overall dental health. She was completely non-judgmental, which I truly appreciated since it had been over a year since my last cleaning.Cassie took all of my X-rays and was super sweet, making the whole process comfortable and easy. They also did a free oral cancer screening, which I’ve never had done before and thought was such a thoughtful extra level of care.I later came back for three fillings, and Dr. Wong and Cassie took amazing care of me. They were thorough, efficient, and had such a gentle touch. I really appreciated that they didn’t let me see the needle while numbing me, and they explained the process clearly without over-explaining or overwhelming me.On top of all that, I loved the comfort details: great music, a neck pillow, and being asked what I wanted to watch on TV while they worked on my teeth. "My tooth broke off on Saturday night. I knew I was in trouble. I saved the part which broke off.Not sure why?? Well I was not in pain but didn't want any more to break off. I called first thing to Emigh Dental Care. I quickly text Dr Pat. He text me back less than 5 minutes was told not to worry. He would have the receptionist call me as soon as they arrive. I got a call and first thing they asked was if I was okey.They just happened to have a cancelation and brought me right in. Everyone was so kind. "I’ve been going to Emigh Dental for over 10 years, and my husband started going 10 years before he recommended them to me. It’s such a terrific practice, I actually look forward to going to the dentist, which sounds crazy of course. But everyone is so kind and conscientious, a visit to the dentist feels like a visit with family. Of course they know my name and my husband’s name, but they also know what we do and they keep track of our kids’ names and ages and they always ask how they’re doing. The environment is very comfortable, too. They play great music and the sound of friendly chatter and laughter fill the space. Plus, you can watch your show of choice on your personal tv screen above your chair and ask for a blanket if you’re cold. In short, it’s a really well run practice. I recommend them without hesitation."

"I have used Emigh as my go-to dental service for the last 4 years, and am very satisfied with them.As an example, two days ago I visited them to have crowns made for two teeth with damaged top surfaces.Throughout my visit, which involved grinding away the damaged areas and preparing temporary crowns among other things, between the times the doctor was actively working on my teeth, various specialists were coming and going, making impressions of my existing tooth top surfaces, doing color digital scans of the teeth after they had been ground down to prepare them for the crowns to ensure good fits with the permanent crowns, etc.There was never more than a 1-minute gap between when one worker completed their task with me until the next person in the process arrived. I was never left waiting. I got to see the results of various scans etc. as they were done, which was quite interesting. Basically, they were careful to not have me just sitting there without progress being made, which I appreciate.The end result: I was taken care of quickly, and left with temporary crowns that looked like they could have been my real teeth.All during that I never had any pain or discomfort at all, even when the first numbing injection was given. I don't know how the dentist did that, but she did.Through all of my visits to Emigh over the last 4 years, I've found all of their staff to be uniformly cheerful, friendly, and highly competent. They do top-quality work and their prices are quite reasonable.The bottom line:When someone asks me about a good dental office in the area, my answer is always: "Emigh -- they are the best dental service I've ever had. Go see them, you'll be happy with the result."...And after they try them, they, too, recommend Emigh to others. With good reason....At my latest visit, while sitting in the waiting room after arriving early, I talked to an about-to-benew patient of yours who said she had looked for a new dentist online, and the overwhelming number of positive reviews for you folks made choosing you a no-brainer. As an example, two days ago I visited them to have crowns made for two teeth with damaged top surfaces. Throughout my visit, which involved grinding away the damaged areas and preparing temporary crowns among other things, between the times the doctor was actively working on my teeth, various specialists were coming and going, making impressions of my existing tooth top surfaces, doing color digital scans of the teeth after they had been ground down to prepare them for the crowns to ensure good fits with the permanent crowns, etc. There was never more than a 1-minute gap between when one worker completed their task with me until the next person in the process arrived. I was never left waiting. I got to see the results of various scans etc. as they were done, which was quite interesting. Basically, they were careful to not have me just sitting there without progress being made, which I appreciate. The end result: I was taken care of quickly, and left with temporary crowns that looked like they could have been my real teeth. All during that I never had any pain or discomfort at all, even when the first numbing injection was given. I don't know how the dentist did that, but she did. Through all of my visits to Emigh over the last 4 years, I've found all of their staff to be uniformly cheerful, friendly, and highly competent. They do top-quality work and their prices are quite reasonable. The bottom line: When someone asks me about a good dental office in the area, my answer is always: "Emigh -- they are the best dental service I've ever had. Although Emigh Dental Care is out-of-network for my Delta Dental PPO, which means I pay upfront and get reimbursed later, the care my family and I have received is well worth the additional cost. Let me backtrack..I was so nervous 4 months ago having an implant I'd convinced myself I needed something to calm me down. Major drugs.lol Dr pat himself called me..explained procedure .asked a few simple questions., completly put me at ease I went in for what I thought would be painful appoinment and I'm here to put in writing it was effortless!! Dr Emigh was so gentle.. through .explained everything he was doing, .the procedure to ready my gum for an implant took less than an hr and I didn't feel a thing!! The tooth that required an impant had been worked by another dentist my former insurance covered. Forget it..Id rather drive to Emigh Dental care , pay for superior care and peace of mind knowing my teeth are seen by a damm good dental practice!! I finally had to face up to the procedure and started the process today. Dr. Pat extracted two teeth (my other one was loose as well), inserted the post, gave me my “flipper” and I was on my way until my follow up appointment. But...not until I cried in the chair after everything was finished telling him how GRATEFUL I was to him! He talked me through everything before he started, was not rushed, made sure I was comfortable throughout and kept everything lighthearted as well. "Went in yesterday for a 6 month check up. Was greeted by an always cheerful Elaine and the front desk! Then Bailey, a new dental assistant, greeted me with an equally cheerful "hello" and walked me back to my chair. Everyone said "hi" to me as we walked back and I thought to myself "this is why I've been coming here for so many years!". Bailey inspected my teeth and cleaned them as we had a great conversation about how to keep my teeth clean, brushing, flossing, etc. Then Dr. Pat came in and greeted me again like an old friend. Based on what I wanted he suggested I go for Invisalign instead with Dr. Todd and that's exactly what I did. 2 years later I had straight teeth and a newfound confidence with my smile. Their office is extremely welcoming and they will remember you each time. I also appreciate how they have a separate little room where they go over all your financial options with you. All their equipment seems to be in great shape if not brand new and the chairs are more comfortable than any other dentist I've been to. If you don't have any insurance it can be a little pricey, but I think the experience is well worth the cost. There's also ample parking in the parking structure! I had my first examination with Dr. Reel today. She was warm, open and friendly! Freddy, the DA escorted me back to the exam room and explained everything thoroughly. I did share that I was worried about my teeth because I haven't had dental care in about 3 years (no dental insurance). After 3 years with no dental care, I have just 1 cavity. After seeing Dr. Reel, Freddy took me to see hygienist, Tammy. Like Dr. Reel, Tammy was warm and friendly. She explained all the things that were to come for my cleaning and the importance of flossing. On 9/17 my 2 year old son and husband saw Dr. Todd. Dr. Todd thoroughly answered all our questions re: jaw surgery for my husband and referred him to an orthodontist. Although my 2 year old son didn't cooperate by opening his mouth, Dr. Todd was able to entertain and make my son feel comfortable. Maybe next time, Dr. Todd will get to take a look at my son's teeth. "This place truly knows the meaning of customer service, I'm very impressed by the professionalism of the staff. I'm a new client and had to have a filling replaced that had fallen out of one of my back molars. I had an issue at my first visit, the first time they tried to refill it (it took two tries in the office) and then it fell out again, about an hour after I got home. When I came back to get it refilled again, I was not comfortable having the same dentist working on it because she had trouble getting it right the first time. I asked to see someone else. When I came back I was taken care of by Dr. Todd. He was very pleasant and made me feel at ease as soon as I arrived. He's an extremely caring person and more than qualified to fix this hard to fill filling. He not only fixed my tooth but he reassured me that the other dentist was also more than qualified to help me, but that he wanted to make sure I felt comfortable with the service I received. I absolutely love this place and how they treated me, they never made me feel weird for asking for another dentist to fix the issue. He explained my options and advocated for the least costly and most appropriate one. I'd been to another dentist who wanted to give me "an expensive Swiss watch" or nothing, rather than just repairing the loose inplant cap that was still very much usable. I was quickly brought back and they did some x-rays and was told my back tooth was really infected and needed to be pulled. I came back a week later after being on antibiotics and had it pulled and it took literally 15 seconds for him to pull out. Everything from the numbing shot to the pulling there was no pain and it was so quick and I appreciate it. I am nervous when it comes to the dentist (nothing extreme but like most people I hate getting work done haha) and he made it a breeze! The front desk and the dental assistants were super nice too!"

"This review is a bit late, but when taking into consideration my experience, it's NEVER too late to visit the dentist!I found Emigh Dental by googling sedation dentistry. My fear of the dentist knew no bounds. It had been 8-9 years since I last visited a dental office and my mouth literally reached a breaking point. Hence my google search for sedation dentistry. I contacted them via email and their office responded promptly. They verified that they do take my insurance and squeezed me in for a 12/30/16 appointment to take advantage of my insurance that would be entering a new policy phase on Jan 1.After panicking for a week, I attended the dentist office alone. The reception was nice, but as I was in a panicked daze, I didn't really take note. Karen took me to the back and took my x-rays. She was incredibly nice and reassuring. She listened to my story about my fears and put me at ease.Dr. Pat then came in for the examination. He was warned that I was a fearful patient. He sat down and just spoke to me. He listened to my story, my childhood trauma of the dentist, what was bothering me currently. This exchange made the best possible first impression with me. "This review is a bit late, but when taking into consideration my experience, it's NEVER too late to visit the dentist! I found Emigh Dental by googling sedation dentistry. My fear of the dentist knew no bounds. It had been 8-9 years since I last visited a dental office and my mouth literally reached a breaking point. Hence my google search for sedation dentistry. I contacted them via email and their office responded promptly. They verified that they do take my insurance and squeezed me in for a 12/30/16 appointment to take advantage of my insurance that would be entering a new policy phase on Jan 1. After panicking for a week, I attended the dentist office alone. The reception was nice, but as I was in a panicked daze, I didn't really take note. Karen took me to the back and took my x-rays. She was incredibly nice and reassuring. She listened to my story about my fears and put me at ease. Dr. Pat then came in for the examination. He was warned that I was a fearful patient. "I saw Dr. Pat for my consultation and Dr. Bob for treatment of a cavity. I'm terrified of dental work so much that I would sooner let a tooth rot out than sit in the chair and endure the drill, but everyone in the office and the two doctors made my visits so comfortable and stress-free that I wouldn't hesitate at the slightest need for a visit in the future! They gave me a sedative that knocked me out. I don't remember anything past taking the medication, and the next day I could eat again on the left side of my mouth- a first in weeks! I had no pain, I had no problems with the bite as I've encountered in the past following a cavity fill. I just woke up, and I could eat again. Can't recommend them enough!"

"This was my first visit to this dental office. It is truly a family dentist office, two brothers and their father are dentists in practice. One of the dentist's wife is the dental hygenist Amber. She was lovely, professional, no pain, she explained everything i needed to know and was knowledgeable about any questions i had. I saw Dr. Todd Emigh, he was also professional , pleasant and able to answer all my questions. He was also able to fill two cavities and I didn't need any anestetic. He was very honest with me about gum problems i have that need to be addressed and referred me to a periodontist and i am in the process of making an appointment. I had a wonderful experience, the office staff and the dental assistant were also outstanding. I would give this dental office ten stars if there was that option. Pat and his crew were very comforting and got the job done with no pain at all! I then was lucky enough to get into a root canal specialist that Dr Emigh recommended, and again was very nervous. They did the root canal without pain and I was expecting to have some sort of discomfort today from all the work that was done. I surprisingly woke up with very very little soreness! Nothing an Aleave couldn't handle! I hope I don't need to have anymore in the future, but if I do, I know what to expect! Excellent job to the Emigh crew!"

I went to 4 different dentists in 2 years before I found Emigh dental and every dentist told me that I needed completely different work done. I went to Emigh Dental the first time and they gave me a list of items that needed to be done but put them in a priority list without pushing anything on me. My referral came from a really happy (picky, finicky, complainy) friend. When I set up the appointment and was asked "when were you last at the dentist?", I went ahead and answered with a shameful "I dunno" and thought they would have a good excuse to need deep cleaning or other expensive procedures. Not at all! I got my teeth cleaned and my new toothbrush and booked a 6 month appointment. The office is fantastic, the staff are professionals and friendly, I felt very taken care of. "If you want great service and a knowledgeable professional staff, then this is the place to go. I like writing up businesses that are family owned and especially ones that do excellent work. I especially like commending them when they actually care about customer service and have a solid foundation of business skills. Emigh Dental Care has my recommendation (and being that I'm so critical and purposely difficult when I'm interviewing people that I will do business with this says a lot). If you like being treated like and individual and not a root canal, then call them. If you want the details read on... My likes...... After years of run of the mill dentist, and a hatred for the procedures, I sought after a doctor that not only had the glitz and glam office but the skills. When I went to his office I was surprised on how nicely they had remodeled the top for of the building they lease in ( solid indication of a business that is doing well- a business that to my knowledge doesn't own the building, but it willing to spend money to re-model it because they are in it for the long hall). After being introduced to the admin staff, of which are very very professional, I was given a tour. What did I find on my tour?? Everything you want to see at a dentist office but never do i.e sterilization room, and degrees. DO YOU KNOW WHERE YOUR DENTIST WENT TO SCHOOL?? I do, USC ( and although they are mainly known for football, they are also home to one of the best dental schools in the nation). I was glad to see that they didn't flaunt the Gold and Burgundy, but were proud enough to dedicate a position in the office to display it. In the event you were interested in where the man who is responsible for your smile was educated, you could find it. The staff and a bizarre train of thought for this day and age.... The ladies at the front LOVE their work, and when you ask them a question or walk in the door you can tell immediately that this isn't your run of the mill office where everyone wears scrubs. Who closes down their offices for meetings and lunch with staff constantly, so they can discuss patient care and the overall business??This guy! Where most owners would see it as an extra cost to treat there staff to donuts and a loss of a days profit, Dr. Emigh sees it as a necessity, and you can see the difference when you interact with his staff. I can go on and on about this office, who would have thought a dentist would be such a long post, but I'll stop with this.... At most offices( in my critical and pay attention to detail train of thought) if I incur a problem, I leave. I feel no need to explain to an office manager why Janice (fictional character) shouldn't be talking about her drunk weekends and boyfriend trouble while I'm waiting to see the doctor. BUT if this ever were to happen ( and believe me ,it wouldn't') at this office I would have no problem writing a complaint or bringing it to their attn. WHY?? because he actually cares and he would remedy the problem.He realizes staff is a direct reflection of him, bot educated and professional, and if he is willing to spare no detail with his staff, then he is willing to spare no detail with you."

"So it's a year later and I couldn't be happier with my choice in Emigh Dental Care. As a family of 5, we are here fairly frequently for routine check-ups and Emigh rolls out the red carpet each and every time. The staff is top notch. My kids LOOK FORWARD to coming here :)"

"Dr. Emigh (the elder) is fantastic! I am no longer a patient because I moved, but my experiences there were just wonderful. The minute you walk in you feel comfortable. Everyone there is genuinely nice and caring. They put a lot of care and pride into their work. I even had great dealings with them when it came to billing. When does that ever happen?! I highly recommend this office (my husband went to Dr. Emigh, the younger and had a good experience too)."
"Dr. Pat is a hilarious dentist. His staff is very kind and his office is quite new. I don't feel like he looks for things that are not necessary and their fees seem to be quite reasonable. I had an all tooth colored crown done on one of my make teeth and the procedure was completely painless. I would recommend this office to anyone."
"I came to Dr. Emigh last year about a month before my wedding to inquire about getting an "Extreme Makeover" of my teeth. I had bonding for years that was ready to be replaced with some pearly whites. I sat in the chair nervous of course but everyone there made me feel at ease. We discussed the options I had for cosmetic work and I decided that night "LETS DO IT" I was drilled on for hours and got temporary teeth put in until my veneers came from the lab - A DAY BEFORE MY WEDDING! I had the utmost confidence in this dentist, I just had a great feeling about all of them and I was right on! The day before my wedding, I went in and had my veneers "seated" and I couldn't be happier. Everyone in the office said they called the lab almost daily to make sure the lab would deliver the veneers on time. Everyone there is so nice! I don't have Hillary Duff teeth, I have pearly whites that don't look phony. Totally natural feel, look and color. It the best $ I have ever spent! Since the remodel they have massage chairs and flat screen TVs in all the exam rooms. I can't say enough good things about Dr. Emigh's office. For a big chicken like me to go through all that and feel at ease, they have my vote!"
"I've been to Dr. Emigh's office twice in the past two weeks and I think the doc and his office are fantastic. I was no longer happy with my previous dentist and received a postcard in the mail offering free bleach trays and bleach or the 1 hour Zoom whitening for half off, so I thought I would give them a try. The office is like 5 minutes from my house, right next to Cal State LB. They just remodeled the office and had a nice waiting area complete with mini-fridge offering bottled water and apple juice. The dental chairs all have a flat screen TV to watch during procedures, as well as built in back massagers!!! Dr. Emigh works along with his son and both of their wives are hygienists as well. The elder Dr. Emigh wife cleaned my teeth and she did a great job and was really amiable. I need to go back for periodontal cleanings and they do that in office as well. I also had a filling done and Dr. Emigh did a fabulous job. So far I've been really impressed and my hubby also went in for a cleaning/exam with the younger Dr. Emigh and was quite pleased."
